America Ramirez, FNP-C, began her healthcare career in 2009 as a phlebotomist at Tucson Medical Center while pursuing her nursing degree. After graduation she immediately began working as a nurse in the emergency department at Oro Valley Hospital. After 4 years she had the opportunity to work at the Phoenix Children’s Hospital in the emergency department working with the pediatric community in the greater Phoenix area.

America earned her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing (RN-BSN) and her Masters in Family Nurse Practitioner (MSN, APRN) from Grand Canyon University. She is licensed with the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). She is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners as well as the Emergency Nurses Association.

America believes that kindness, compassion, humility and expertise are important when advocating for the patient throughout their plan-of-care. She focuses on building lasting relationships with her patients and her goal has been to serve underserved populations. She believes through compassion and innovation she can provide individuals with chronic pain the relief that they need and deserve.

Outside of her practice America enjoys traveling and hiking and spending time with her husband and her mischievous Golden Retriever, Wrigley.
